Royal Griffin Corps

Book One: Love’s Talons
Welcome to Iostal, a place renowned for magic, griffins, and women warriors. The Royal Griffin’s Corp is a small group of women raised from childhood to protect, advise, and befriend their Queen.
Siobhan is happy with her life as the weapons master of the Royal Griffin Corps. She has her work, her friends, and her griffin Elswith. If she sees threats around every corner, evades her nosy friends and family, and centers her life around her work, well, she has responsibilities. She certainly does not need memories of love from her past haunting her; she knows all too well the danger of giving one’s heart.
Valsir is happy with his life as both an ambassador to Festrax and a magical scholar. He has his work, his friends, and his magic. If his blind eye bothers him, if he hides away in a foreign land, and if his life centers around his work, well, he has responsibilities. He certainly doesn’t need to be haunted by memories of the one that got away; he knows all too well the pain of giving one’s heart.
But a dangerous plot brews that threatens the Queen’s life and the entire Queendom. Amidst this turmoil, the two former lovers must reunite and work together to uncover the culprit. As the stakes grow higher and the danger intensifies, Siobhan and Valsir must confront both their past and their feelings for each other. Will they succeed in their mission and reclaim their lost love, or will they fail and become the victims of Love’s Talons?

Book Two: Love’s Draft
Welcome to Iostal, a place renowned for magic, griffins, and women warriors. The Royal Griffin’s Corp is a group of women raised for childhood to protect, advise, and befriend their Queen.
Zirith is happy with her life as the Royal Griffin Corps member who oversees the healers. She has her work, her friends, and her griffin Wystella. She is well aware that her mind works differently than others, that there are things she misses, that she can be shy, that she can be overly direct, and that she needs structure. If there is a part of her that craves a deeper connection with someone, well, she isn’t sure if she is even capable of that.
Kamir is happy with his life as both an herbalist and a magical scholar. He has his work, his friends, his family, and his magic. If he craves a deeper connection with a woman who doesn’t seem to see him as anyone more than a friend, well, at least he has that friendship. He knows that if he pushes her further, he risks losing her altogether.
But after a nearly successful assassination attempt, the life of the high priestess is on the line. The two friends must unite and work together to gather the ingredients to create a draft that might help her wake up. As the risks they must take grow higher and the chance of failure intensifies, Zirith and Kamir must confront both their pasts and their feelings for each other. Will they succeed in their mission and find the deeper connection they both crave or will Love’s Draft spoil?

Book Three: Love’s Chords
Welcome to Iostal, a place renowned for magic, griffins, and women warriors. The Royal Griffin’s Corp is a group of women raised from childhood to protect, advise, and befriend their Queen.
Jem is happy with her life as the Royal Griffin Corps member who serves as palace seneschal. She has her work, her friends, and her griffin Jactro. If she likes making sure things run smoothly, if she likes being in control, if she eschews the spotlight, well, she is who she is. She certainly does not need to be attracted to her younger brother’s best friend.
Serando is happy with his life as both a performer and composer. He has his music, his friends, his foster family, and his magic. If his need for freedom makes him chase music like his life depends on it, well, he is who he is. He certainly doesn’t need to be attracted to his best friend’s older sister.
But the Queen’s wedding is a once-in-a-generation occurrence. When the Queen overhears the two friends singing together, she asks them to perform at the wedding. As they practice together, the attraction intensifies, and Jemisal and Serando must confront both their pasts and their feelings for each other. Will the song they are creating together ring out through the ages, or will Love’s Chords fall flat?

Book Four: Love’s Signs
Welcome to Iostal, a place renowned for magic, griffins, and women warriors. The Royal Griffin’s Corp is a group of women raised from childhood to protect, advise, and befriend their Queen.
Nadira is happy with her life as the Royal Griffin Corps member who serves as head of intelligence. She has her work, her friends, and her griffin Pardiza. If she runs toward danger rather than away, if she asks forgiveness rather than permission, if she wears masks, well, she’s one of the best at what she does. She certainly does not need to be drawn to a stranger who sees through those masks.
Leil is happy with his life as a goddess-touched monk. He has his weaving, his friends, his mission, and his visions. If those visions take an emotional toll, if fear of not being heard drives him, if responsibility weighs heavily on him, well, he is one of the strongest seers at Cloudkeep Temple. He certainly doesn’t need to be drawn to a stranger who has built a life on wearing masks.
But Leil has a vision of the Queen in danger again. To save the Queen, Nadira and Leil must take down the Queenmaker assassins once and for all. As they work together, attraction intensifies, and Nadira and Leil must confront both their pasts and their feelings for each other. Will they find a path to success, or will they dismiss Love’s Signs?

Illarian is happy with her life as the leader of the Royal Griffin Corps. She has her work, her friends, and her griffin Hesia. If she never puts herself first, if duty and responsibility rule her life, well, a leader does what she must. She has no room for love in her life.
Kivik is happy with his life as the ambassador of the Mashan Desert. He has his vocation, his family, and his magic. If his work and responsibility are his priority, well, he is the voice of the Sha Din outside the desert. He has no room for love in his life.
In order to deal with the troublesome Prien Tray Empire once and for all, Illarian and Kivik must wed to secure a marriage alliance between Iostal and the Mashan Desert. The newlyweds then travel to the Icefang Islands with the high-stakes task of negotiating peace with Prien Tray’s representative. As they work together, their attraction intensifies, and Illarian and Kivik must confront both their preconceptions and their unexpected feelings for each other. Will they embrace their love, or will they dismiss Love’s Duty?
